To adapt to steep slopes in the terrain, sometimes the gravitational sewage line has to take a sudden drop to make sure the line stays under ground enough. Several so-called drop-structures have to be constructed in the manhole workshop.
In the manhole workshop, special pieces like bents, manhole pieces and drop structures are cut and assembled. After being grinded and chamfered, the pieces will be laminated together to ensure a solid construction.
The actual posing of the first pipes (diameter of 140 cm, length 6 meters) has started now and the first part of the western trunk is under construction now. The yellow trench-box is used to prevent the collapse of the walls of the trench.
